Process

The Planning Works focuses on Survey, Design, Consultation and Planning and Applications.

PHASE ONE:

SURVEY

We will survey the house and garden. The survey results are used to compile a set of plans and elevations of your existing home.

DESIGN

Following our initial design brief with you, we then use the survey to design some new ideas to meet your requirements.

CONSULTATION

The new plans will then be presented to you to allow a discussion and development of the ideas. Based upon our conversation we will revise the designs and ideas until we achieve your ideal plan.

PLANNING

These plans will become the basis for a Planning Application. Alternatively, we will develop a full set of final plans and elevations if a Planning Application is not required.


PHASE TWO:

SPECIFICATION AND SCHEDULE OF WORKS

For the successful realisation of the building project, a thorough specification and schedule of works is essential. We provide a specification service through our company Scope of Works Ltd based upon your finalised plans.

CONTRACT ADMINISTRATION

Choosing the right contractor and correct building contract is important. We will draw up the contract appropriate to your project, and assist in the selection of a suitable contractor to carry out the build.

COMMUNICATION, COORDINATION, AND COMPLETION

We provide a weekly communication and coordination service to ensure that all parties have a clear picture of progress through to completion.
